Inconspicuous, unagitated and largely unknown even to experienced Cologne museum-goers, the GeoMuseum is hidden just a gem's throw from the Eifelwall on the first floor between the Institutes of Geology and Mineralogy (entrance: Paula-Kleinmann-Weg). Here, the most important geological exhibits are presented.

Not only fascinating corals and mighty sequoia slices can be admired here, but also large fossils such as an ichthyosaur (fish dinosaur), a marine crocodile and a rare amphibian skeleton about 1 m in size.
