The Kolbhalle Artist Community has existed for 33 years in an old industrial hall in Cologne-Ehrenfeld. It is an institution when it comes to free art, alternative living models and shared free space. As a platform for all kinds of art and culture, exhibitions, studios, meetings, dance and music, the Kolbhalle is a true treasure of the Veedel.

TO THE MUSEUM NIGHT:
Culture needs a future and a future needs culture. The Kolbhalle has been an international artists community for more than 30 years. Twelve creative people live and work in residential studios or carts in an old machine factory in Ehrenfeld and organize the house and the cultural program. At least 100 other creatives use the space for various projects. However, the site is to make way for residential development. A replacement hall with an office building in the neighborhood could be an alternative - studios, workshops and a soundproofed area for music are planned here.
